On 31st January 2016, the initiators of the ILDA fund visited Ethiopia and signed cooperation MOU with the Organization for Africa First Ladies against HIV/AIDS (OAFLA), donating $100,000 to their programs on women and children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
