TBEA covers the products of an entire industrial chain of power transmission and distribution, including transformers, converter valves, switches, secondary equipment, cables, and bushings. These products are applied in power grid, renewable energy, high-speed railway, subway, petrochemical, big data center, intelligent manufacturing, and 5G, etc. We provide turnkey services and solutions from survey, design, construction, installation, commissioning, and O&M.  

2.New Energy  

TBEA has a close-loop polysilicon industrial chain and owns a high-purity crystalline silicon factory with an annual production capacity of 80,000 tons. TBEA is a system integrator in new energy industry which is able to handle the R&D and manufacturing of key electrical equipment, such as polysilicon and solar inverter, and provides services of designing, EPC, commissioning, operation and maintenance. TBEA runs business in more than 20 countries and regions, the global wind and solar installed capacity is nearly 21GW, and the inverter shipments exceed 32GW.  

3.New Materials   

TBEA has an aluminum-based new material industry chain, in which self-produced clean energy is used to manufacture high-purity aluminum, electronic aluminum foil, and electrode foil. The high-purity aluminum target blank that TBEA developed has broken the technical barriers of the industry, and the high-strength-and-toughness aluminum alloys can replace imported high-end aluminum materials. These aluminum-based products are widely used in large equipment manufacturing, 5G renewable energy, railway and other fields, and are exported to 15 developed countries and regions.  

4.Traditional Energy   

In Wucaiwan, Zhundong Area, TBEA has an open-pit coal mine with reserves of 12.6 billion tons. Around this coal mine, TBEA has developed an industrial chain which covers coal mining, coal power, and railway logistics and built a production system for smart and green mines. The mine has obtained an approved production capacity of 54 million tons a year. The coal mine lay a foundation for TBEA's renewable energy and polysilicon industrial chain and aluminum-based new material industrial chain.  

5.TBEA serves the "Belt and Road" construction 

While equipping China, the company is committed to sharing China's advanced power construction experience with the world and expanding its global market share. By the end of 2021, TBEA has set up dozens of offices around the world, a UHV product research and development base in India, an energy and mineral base in Tajikistan, and an energy and mineral base in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Angola and other countries along the “Belt and Road”. A series of state-level major power projects have been constructed. TBEA's high-tech products have successfully entered more than 70 countries and regions, and provided more than 30 countries with turnkey projects and system solutions from survey, design, construction, installation, commissioning, to training, and operation and maintenance. TBEA has promoted the construction of green and high-efficiency power grids, realized the export of China's advanced power standards to the world, and driven billions of dollars in the export of China's mechanical and electrical products and the export of tens of thousands of labor services. 

TBEA has always been adhering to the concept of "Building a Project, Casting a High-quality Product, and Setting up a Monument", and carried out the implementation of the contract with high standards, high efficiency and high quality. Several projects implemented by the company, such as Dushanbe No. 2 Thermal Power Plant in Tajikistan, Angola SK Project and Tajikistan North-South Power Transmission and Distribution Project, have won the "Luban Award" for national overseas engineering projects, of which the Dushanbe No. 2 thermal power plant project was also selected. The first issue of the "Belt & Road" story book series "Shared Dream" compiled by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce. The company actively expands overseas markets. Up to now, the Bangladesh project with the largest single contract value (US$1.657 billion) has officially started construction, and a number of projects in Uganda, PNG, Laos, Cambodia and other projects have been implemented steadily. By the end of 2021, the company's overseas project contracts totaled more than 20 billion US dollars, and the total amount of completed and under construction projects reached USD 9 billion. 

The Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang visited the company and the company's overseas project locations for 7 times successively and attended major project signing activities. They fully affirmed the company's achievements in the countries along the "Belt and Road", and encouraged TBEA to adhere to extensive consultation, joint construction and sharing, serve the local economic development and benefit the local people. At the completion and ignition of the first phase of the Tajikistan Dushanbe No. 2 thermal power plant and the groundbreaking ceremony for the second phase of the company's construction, President Xi said: "This project is a landmark project of pragmatic cooperation between China and Tajikistan, and a symbol of friendship between the people of China and Tajikistan." He also encouraged: "Strike while the iron is hot and make persistent efforts to bring more warmth to the People of Tajikistan." On August 27, 2018, the Central government held the 5th anniversary of the "Belt and Road" construction work. Mr. Zhang Xin, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of TBEA, attended the meeting as one of the representatives of eight private entrepreneurs across the country. In June 2019, during his visit to Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, President Xi Jinping published a signed article, focusing on the contribution to the economic and social development of the two countries by the three iconic energy cooperation projects constructed and implemented by TBEA in the two countries. Certainly, TBEA is encouraged to continue to actively participate in the construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative.
