Jiangsu Jielong Agricultural Development Group Co., Ltd. was established in November 2021 with a registered capital of CNY 100 million (US$15.699 Million). It was formerly known as Jiangsu Jielong Technology Group and located in Sheyang Economic Development Zone, Jiangsu Province, PRC. It is mainly engaged in production and sales of edible vegetable oil, beer malt, cassava starch, feed; trade, purchase and storage of grain; port logistics; foreign trade and other businesses. Its subsidiaries include Jiangsu Jielong Agricultural Products Processing Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Jielong Malt Co., Ltd., Jielong Holdings (Tanzania) Co., Ltd., Yancheng Jielong Import and Export Co., Ltd. and others.
The total assets of the group are CNY839,633,800 (US$131.8 Million), of which the fixed assets are CNY 355,355,200 (US$55.8 Million), the annual sales are about CNY 1 billion (US$156.9 Million). The group currently has 521 employees, including 449 Tanzanian employees, 56 of whom have a college degree or above and intermediate professional titles, including 2 senior professional titles. The group has standardized management and advanced facilities including a 120,000-ton standard warehouse, a 12,000-M2 ordinary warehouse, a 10,000-M3 silo warehouse, an oil production line of daily-processing-500-tons of raw material, a production line of daily-processing-250-tons of animal feed, a production line with 64-delinting-machines, a production line of annual-output-2-million-plastic-oil-buckets, a production line of 5-automatic-edible-oil-fillers, a grain drying production line of daily-300-tons, and a beer malt production line of annual-output-of-50,000 tons. In July 2012, in accordance with the policy guidelines from the Ministry of Commerce in the PRC and Tanzania’s preferential policies for attracting investment, the group actively responded to Chinese “One Belt One Road” national strategy and jointly invested totally US$ 30 million to establish Jielong Holdings (Tanzania) Ltd. in Shinyanga Region, Tanzania, whose construction and installation was completed and it’s put into production at the beginning of 2014. Its product sales network covers Africa, Japan, South Korea, Europe, the United States and more than 20 provinces and cities in China. Currently, it’s the largest cottonseed oil producer in Africa and the only certified best cotton seed processer in Tanzania. At the 2nd China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo held in Changsha, Hunan in September 2021, Tanzania oil and fat deep processing project case was successfully selected and incorporated into the books of "China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Case Collection" and the "China-Africa Economic and Trade Relations Report".
