ACAS-Law was established in 1991 as a partnership by its two founding partners, Sola Adepetun and Afolabi Caxton-Martins, under the name Adepetun & Caxton-Martins, to provide professional legal services as a full service corporate and commercial law firm. Following the admissions of Funke Agbor and Felicia Kemi Segun into the partnership in 1993 and 2000 respectively, the name of the Firm changed to Adepetun Caxton-Martins & Agbor in 1993 and Adepetun Caxton-Martins Agbor & Segun in 2004. In 2007, ACAS-Law admitted two new partners, in the persons of Taiwo Afonja and Ben Unaegbunam. In April 2012, Idowu Durosinmi-Etti and Dayo Ayoola-Johnson were also admitted into the partnership. In December 2014, Chisa Uba and Donna Shodipo were admitted into the partnership. In July 2017, John Chibueze was admitted into the partnership and in September 2017, Fred Ntido was admitted into the partnership. In its 27 years of existence, ACAS-Law has developed considerable legal expertise and accumulated a wealth of knowledge relating to various sectors of the Nigerian economy.
