On May 24th, in line of promotion of Chinese Investment and Tourism in Africa, the Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda on behalf of the Group of African Embassies in China, in partnership with China Investment Magazine and the Public Diplomacy & Culture Exchange Center organized the China-Africa Business Forum themed “Taking Part into going Global of Chinese Enterprises”. This forum was part of events organized in commemoration of Africa Day in Beijing. Nearly 50 African Ambassadors, officials of UNDP and representatives diplomats and more than 350 famous Chinese entrepreneurs, media representatives and academia representatives were present at the forum.
The forum explores new areas of cooperation between Chinese and African enterprises in order to build the markets together, and it highlights and showcases the cooperation projects from both sides. It is an important platform of presenting business and investment opportunities of several African countries. In the forum, ideas were exchanged in cooperation expanding contacts and implementing new projects.
