On November 12, 2024, the 2024 Global
Supply Chain Development Conference was held in Chongqing to leverage the
strategic advantages of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, enhance
supply chain stability, and promote global connectivity.
The conference, themed “Building a Service Platform for Seamless Integration of Global Trade and Logistics,” was attended by leaders from the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, Chongqing Port Logistics Office, Guizhou Qiannan Prefecture, the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor company, Jiangjin Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and the China-Africa Chamber of Commerce.
Approximately 150 participants, including government officials, experts, academics, industry leaders, and enterprise representatives from Chongqing, Guizhou, Gansu, and Sichuan, gathered to discuss trends, opportunities, and the collaborative development of logistics, trade, and industry in the global supply chain.
Distinguished foreign attendees included
the Ambassadors of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Sierra Leone, the
Deputy Ambassador of Togo, diplomatic representatives from the Republic of
Congo, South Sudan, Madagascar, the UK, and Italy, as well as the President of
the Mexican Chamber of Commerce.
