Distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen:
Good morning.
It is my great honor to attend this China-Zambia Business Symposium in Beijing. On behalf of China Gansu International Corporation for Economic and Technical Cooperation（short for CGICOP）, I would like to participate and promote Sino-Zambia bilateral economic growth and trade relationship with those people who devoted to the bilateral economic development.
Established in 1970s, CGICOP is a transnational corporation engaging in international overall contracting, import and export, economic technique and labor cooperation，pharmaceutical manufacturing, hotel management, abroad real estate development, domestic building construction. It was awarded qualification certificate for foreign aid projects by Chinese Commerce Ministry, Grade 1 for general contracting by Urban and Rural Housing Ministry, listed in Group for Chinese Embassies consulates construction by Foreign Ministry. In 2016, it was named the top 250 international contractors by Engineering News-Record (ENR) ranking 196.
Currently, we have several abroad companies in Ghana, Angola, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Botswana, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia and Singapore and three project teams in Ivory Coast, India, Jordan and one
technical cooperation team in Guinea. Follow the national Belt and Road strategy, we have registered companies in Cambodia, Belarus, Kenya and Pakistan.
We have developed business in economic aid, project contracting, technical and labor service cooperation, trading in more than forty countries in Asia, Europe, Oceania, Africa and Latin America since 1978, and completed a large number of influential and high-quality China-aided projects and international contract projects.
Facing the changes under the new situation of economic, we treat the strategic investment as a lead. Supported by high-tech equipment manufacturing, CGICOP has started the industry transforming and upgrading, to foster and develop new four industries. Three industrial parks have been completed in China Gansu Province, one is in Tema, Ghana. Various types of machineries and equipment, including construction engineering machine, shield machine, vehicle for special purpose, and equipment for sand protecting barrier project, have already been put on the market both home and abroad. The technology of wind power facility has reached international leading level.
China-Zambia maintains a long-term friendly relationship since established. Under the situation of Sino–Africa economic and trade cooperation deepening and rapid growing, economic complementarity of two countries is growing. Zambia has huge potential investment
environment, which will be the hot land and attracts china and other investors.
We, CGICOP would like to take active part in Zambia infrastructure construction, contribute to the economic growth of Zambia and Sino -Africa capacity cooperation.
