On December 1, the 6th China-Africa Economic Cooperation and Overseas Security Seminar, co-organized by China Institute of Modern International Relations (CIMR) and China-Africa Business Council (CABC), was successfully held in Beijing. Representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, China Security Association, Tsinghua University and other governmental and think-tank organizations, as well as PetroChina, China Railway Construction, General Technology Group, China Earth Group, China Land Overseas Group, Luoyang Molybdenum Industry, Pacific Insurance, Dewei Group, Huayuanwei, Huaxin Zhong'an and other more than 50 Chinese-funded enterprises attended the meeting. Representatives of the Chinese diaspora from African countries such as Nigeria, Botswana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Zambia, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Niger, Mozambique, Ethiopia and Guinea made statements in written form to introduce the observations on overseas security from the front line in Africa.
