As the China Social Assistance Foundation’s (CSAF) very first international charity project, the ILDA Fund has received immense support from CSAF since its establishment. On the meeting, Secretary-General of CSAF Mr. Hu Guanghua presented the Philanthropy Leadership Award to UNAIDS Country Director and Representative to China Ms. Catherine Sozi, in recognition and appreciation of her perseverant dedication to public benefits and deep support for the ILDA Fund. “There are two aspects of philanthropy: helping people directly and raising awareness. We directly help people living with HIV in Africa, and also raise Chinese people’s awareness of the epidemic. China Social Assistance Foundation will continue to foster the ILDA Fund, promote care and love for African people, raise awareness in China and let the combination of these works bear sweet fruits” said Mr. Hu.
