On June 12, the 14th Ordinary Session Of The IGAD Assembly Of Heads Of State And Government was held in Djibouti. The Presidents of Djibouti, Kenya, Somalia and South Sudan, the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, the Vice-President of Transitional Sovereign Council in Sudan, the Foreign Ministers of Eritrea and Uganda and the Chairperson of the African Union Commission attended the opening ceremony. Special Envoys of China, Italy, the United States, Japan, the United Nations and the European Union for the Horn of Africa Affairs were invited to attend the meeting and deliver speeches. Hu Bin, Chinese Ambassador to Djibouti, was invited to attend the meeting.
