LagRide was launched by the government of Lagos State, Nigeria, CIG Motors Co Ltd and Lagos-based state-owned IBILE Holdings Ltd

On March 3^rd, 2022, the government of Lagos State, Nigeria, CIG Motors Co Ltd and Lagos-based state-owned IBILE Holdings Ltd together launched LagRide—a “milestone” online ride-hailing project locally to tackle transportation challenges confronted in Nigeria.
