August 7 saw the 2018 African Ranger Awards Ceremony co-held by the Alibaba Foundation and the Paradise Foundation in Cape Down, South Africa. Awarded the prize were 50 rangers from 17 countries, coming up from 146 nominators from 21 countries.
Mr. Wang Xiaoyong, the Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General of CABC was present at the ceremony, along with his delegation.
Mr. Jack Ma, the Chairman of Alibaba Group and Co-Chair of Paradise Foundation, Mr. Lin Songtian, the Chinese Ambassador in South Africa and Mr. Erik Solheim, the Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme gave speech respectively.
