On May 29, a special event on overseas safety and security, hosted by the Qingdao China-Africa Chamber of Commerce and co-organized by Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance’s Qingdao Branch, was held in Qingdao, with more than 140 companies in attendance. The event focused on the safety challenges faced by private enterprises “going global,” launched the China-Africa (Shandong) Charity Fund for Women and Children, the Safety and Security Platform, and the Institute for Emerging Markets and Urban Governance, and unveiled the China-Africa One-Stop Comprehensive Service Platform. Cooperation agreements on training assistance for Africa, financial consulting, and a joint secretariat were signed on-site. Thematic presentations and roundtable discussions centered on overseas safety policies, insurance solutions, financial hubs, and personal security. The event aimed to establish a comprehensive overseas safety and security system to help ensure the steady and sustainable development of China-Africa economic and trade cooperation.
