On 16 June 2026, Chen Feng, Minister-Counsellor at the Chinese Embassy in Angola, attended the opening ceremony of the Guangde International Group’s ‘Panda Home’ orphanage. The event was attended by Xu Ning, Chairman of Guangde Group; a representative of the Angolan Minister for Foreign Affairs; and other distinguished guests, as well as representatives from Chinese enterprises and the Chinese community in Angola. In his address, Chen Feng described the orphanage as a symbol of friendship between China and Angola, commending Chinese enterprises in Angola for actively fulfilling their social responsibilities. He added that China would continue to uphold the principles of sincerity, friendship, and mutual benefit in pursuing shared development with Angola. Xu Ning stated that the company would remain committed to giving back to the local community and caring for vulnerable groups. The event featured joyful songs and dances performed by the children, creating a warm and lively atmosphere.
