On 14 June, the two sides signed a strategic cooperation agreement to establish a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership. Building on the strong demand in Touba City for handicrafts, agricultural products, daily necessities and infrastructure, the two sides will leverage Yiwu's full-supply-chain strengths to establish a two-way trade corridor. The agreement focuses on in-depth cooperation in the economic and trade sectors. The council will provide one-stop services, including policy coordination, market research and supply-demand matching. It will also facilitate the implementation of the agreement, opening exclusive access to the Touba market for its members, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of China-Africa economic and trade relations and achieving mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
