On the morning of April 2, Eva Kiwango, Representative of the UNAIDS China Global Coordination Office, led a delegation to visit the China-Africa Business Council. The two sides exchanged views on China-Africa health cooperation, local production of pharmaceuticals in Africa, UN procurement, and public welfare initiatives. Wang Xiaoyong, Executive Vice President of the Council, and Feng Qiang, Deputy Secretary-General, hosted the meeting. Representatives from member companies including BGI Group, Hifang Hi-Tech, JA Solar, and Ustar Biotechnologies shared their experiences and plans for Africa-focused cooperation. The Council and UNAIDS have maintained a strong partnership since 2013 and will continue to advance health and public welfare efforts in Africa.
