On September 23, the China-Africa Business Council hosted the Promotional Event on African Overseas Economic Cooperation Zones and Council Member Cooperation Meeting in Xiamen, in collaboration with the Xiamen Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Fujian Association for International Cooperation of Private Economy, and the MBA Education Center of Xiamen University. The event brought together more than 150 entrepreneurs from business associations and member organizations.
Speakers delivered keynote remarks on the development of overseas economic cooperation zones in countries including Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Guinea, Uganda, Angola, Zambia, and Morocco. Discussions also covered service platforms supporting outbound investment, such as cross-border payment systems and international tax compliance solutions.
