A launch
ceremony was recently held in the town of Kayunga for the Kayunga-Bbaale-Galaya Road upgrade
project, which is being undertaken by China Road and Bridge Co., Ltd. in
central Uganda.
This section of highway, spanning a total length of 87.3 kilometers, serves as the transportation corridor connecting Kampala, the capital of Uganda, to the Lake Kioga region. With the upgrade project of the road, the travel time is expected to be significantly reduced. The project is committed to supporting Uganda’s infrastructure development through investment, financing, and technical assistance, thereby contributing to job opportunities creation and the sustained transfer of knowledge and skills to local communities.
