During the Fourth China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, China-Africa Business Council and the UNICEF signed a Memorandum of Understanding, with the objective of supporting Chinese enterprises in participating in procurement and cooperation initiatives within the United Nations system through bilateral collaboration.
The agreement also emphasizes five key areas of the future collaboration: United Nations-guided corporate social responsibility initiatives, UN procurement training and capacity-building programs, information sharing regarding the needs of African countries, participation in international cooperation projects, and the joint promotion of localized production in Africa.
