“Harnessing the Power of Innovation and Entrepreneurship to Promote
China-Africa Youth Development,” the China-Africa Dialogue on Youth Innovation
and Entrepreneurship was held in Changsha City on June 13, 2025. Wu Guiying,
Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Secretary
of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, stated that the Hunan Provincial
Committee and the People’s Government of Hunan Province paid high attention to
youth innovation and entrepreneurship, extending a warm invitation to global
young college students to “pack your backpack and come to Hunan to start a
business.”
Changsha City is now focusing on setting a benchmark for a youth-friendly development city in China, actively improving the policy system, building communication platforms, and providing attentive service. As one of the priority thematic activities of the 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, the China-Africa Dialogue on Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship aimed to build a practical platform for China-Africa youth on innovation and entrepreneurship, continue to further strengthen the cooperative partnership between China and Africa, and jointly develop the modern and prosperous future of China and Africa.
