To better support Hunan enterprises in going global and Hunan entrepreneurs in soaring in Africa, the 1st general assembly and inaugurating meeting of the Hunan-Africa Economic and Trade Chamber of Commerce (HAETC) was successfully held on June 3, 2025 in Changsha City, Hunan Province. Hou Xingwang, Chairman of Hunan Xingwang Technology Group, was elected as the first president, and Tang Xiang, Chairman of Hunan Jianan House Investment Group, was elected as the executive president.
Hou expressed that HAETC would focus on platform building and shared development, working in synergy to provide professional services for Hunan enterprises to speedily go global and better tap into the African market. HAETC also aimed to contribute greatly to deepening Hunan Province and Africa's economic and trade cooperation and accelerating Hunan’s steps to become a leading region for reform and opening-up in inland areas of China.
