As of 3 June 2025, more than 28,000 people had signed up for the 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo. More than 4,700 Chinese and African participant enterprises, business associations, and financial institutions were from 48 African countries, 9 international organizations and 27 Chinese provincial-level regions.
The event, themed “China and Africa: Together Toward Modernization,” was held from June 12 to 15 in Changsha City, Hunan Province. As a prominent platform for implementing the economic and trade initiatives of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, the event, centered around the 10 Partnership Actions, hosted 30 economic and trade activities in fields including China-Africa industrial chain collaboration, green minerals, infrastructure, traditional medicine, cultural industries and youth entrepreneurship.
