Jiangxi Economic Cooperation Zone in Zambia is the first overseas economic and trade cooperation zone in China's Jiangxi Province, located in the agricultural zone of Zambia, which officially operated in October 2023 after five years of construction with a cumulative investment of nearly US$70 million.
As of March 2025, it has attracted 13 enterprises, with a total investment of 149 million US dollars, driving nearly 1,000 people to employment. The cooperation zone focuses on the development of processing and manufacturing industries, and introduces enterprises with local resource advantages and Chinese industrial advantages to promote Zambia's industrial upgrading.
