On 14th April 2025, a high-level delegation from the Kenyan government visited the Beijing headquarters of JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd. to discuss Sino-African cooperation in the field of energy and the application scenarios and opportunities of Chinese renewable energy technologies in Kenya and Africa. Ambassador H.E. Amb. Ali Mohamed, Special Envoy of the President of Kenya on Climate Change, said that Kenya plans to increase the share of renewable energy in power generation to 100% by 2030, and welcomes Chinese enterprises to participate in the cooperation, and Sun Guangbin, President of JA Solar's Global Public Affairs Centre, emphasized that the company is committed to promoting China-Africa energy cooperation and helping Africa's energy transformation.
