Egypt 500 MW Wind Power Project in Gulf of
Suez completed the lifting of wind turbines ahead of schedule, which is the
highest single-machine capacity wind power project in Egypt. The project is
expected to generate 2.7 billion kWh of electricity annually, reduce carbon
dioxide emissions by one million tons, and meet the electricity demand of
800,000 households.
With its localized experience and
technology, China National Chemical Engineering NO.16 Construction Co.
undertakes the foundation construction of the wind turbine, creating more than
1,000 jobs and supporting Egypt's energy transformation.
