StarTimes Smart Energy Nigeria Limited successfully won the bid for the off-grid microgrid project under the DARES (Distributed Renewable Energy Scale-up Promotion Project) funded by the World Bank. This marks a milestone in promoting rural electrification and increasing the spread of renewable energy in Nigeria.
The DARES project, led by the Nigerian Rural Electrification Agency (REA), aims to use solar-powered microgrids to drive rural economic development and improve power supply in remote areas.
