In
recent years, African nuts like macadamia nuts, cashews, and macadamia nuts
from Hawaii have become popular in the Chinese market due to their high
quality. Li Haili, who has been in the nut business in the Gaokiao market in
Hunan for over 20 years, mentioned that African nuts are in high demand during
the Spring Festival, particularly Tanzanian cashews and South African macadamia
nuts, which have already sold out.
With
the further expansion of zero-tariff treatment for products from least
developed countries to China and the establishment of "green
channels" for African agricultural products, an increasing number of
high-quality African agricultural products are entering the Chinese market.
These efforts not only meet the diverse needs of Chinese consumers but also
drive the economic development of African countries.
