From November 11 to 22, 2024, the 29th
Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate
Change (UNFCCC) was held in Baku, Azerbaijan. As one of the largest
international platforms for addressing the global climate crisis, the
conference brought together leaders from governments, businesses, and civil
society.
Huayou Cobalt, invited by the Ministry of
Ecology and Environment’s Publicity and Education Center and Geely Holding
Group, participated in the conference. On November 13, Huayou Cobalt joined the
“Creating a Green, Low-Carbon Future with the EV Value Chain” roundtable
discussion at the China Pavilion.
Li Zhongning, Huayou Cobalt’s Head of ESG
and Sustainable Development, shared the company’s practices and innovations in
green development, low-carbon initiatives, and supply chain collaboration,
attracting wide attention.
