On July 30, 2024, H.E. Mr. Zhang Bin, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Nigeria visited the Namibe Fertilizer Plant Project in Angola, initiated by China Hyway under the “Belt and Road” strategy. The project, launched in 2023, aims to boost Angola’s food security and agricultural development by increasing fertilizer production. Ambassador Zhang praised the project’s progress and emphasized its importance for enhancing China-Angola economic cooperation.
