On 9 June 2023, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo to China François Nkuna Balumuene has attended Global Supply Chain New Ecology Development Forum in Shanghai having in-depth exchanges with experts, scholars and entrepreneurs from different regions.
In the speech of the forum, H.E. Ambassador François Nkuna Balumuene said that last year marked the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the DRC and China. This year, President Tshisekedi paid a cordial visit to China, which formally upgraded the cooperation relationship between the two countries from a win-win decapitation partnership to a comprehensive strategic partnership. After this successive and inherited visit, Shanghai became the first city chosen by the Ambassador to visit, which shows its significancy.
