On 28 May,
the Ethiopia-Guangdong Investment Seminar hosted by the Embassy of Ethiopia in
China was held in Guangzhou. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of
Ethiopia, Demeke Mekonnen, Ethiopia's ambassador to China, Tefera Derbew,
Ethiopian Investment Deputy Commissioner, Daniel Teresa and other dignitaries
attended the seminar. Mr. Zhang Huarong, Chairman
of Huajian Group, Vice Chairman of the African-Chinese People's Friendship
Association, Executive Chairman of CABC and UNIDO Goodwill Ambassador for
Industrialization in Africa, was invited to attend the seminar and deliver a speech.
