Invested and set up by the BGI, the COVID-19
testing lab Huo-Yan Air Lab at the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport. Ethiopia,
was put into use On April 16th, 2021. By March 2022, the BGI has initiated
projects on the Huo-yan Air Lab in nine African countries, including Ethiopia,
Angola and Tanzania. By providing one-platform solutions with
accurate, efficient testing, the labs play a vital role in contributing to the
local testing and diagnosis capabilities.
