December 2nd to 13th saw the professional survey conducted by CABC professional committee of China-Africa Health Industry Alliance. The survey was focusing on the present currency of medical services basing on internet technologies in Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya. Joining in the delegation were Ms. Lu Xin, the professor of National School of Development at Peking University and Mr. Zhang Zhuoyan, the Junior Consultant of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
In Uganda, the delegation was warmly received by Hon. Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda Mr. Ruhakana Rugunda with a meeting on the would-be internet medical projects in Uganda. The Prime Minster extended his full support on such projects. Institutes visited in Uganda were also the office of Chinese Counsellor of Economy and Commerce, United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), AAR Insurance.
In Rwanda, the delegation visited the office of Chinese Counsellor of Economy and Commerce, the Ministry of Health, China-Rwanda Friendship Hospital and other healthcare institutes.
In Kenya, besides the office of Chinese Counsellor of Economy and Commerce, UNICEF representative office, the delegation visited the largest international non-governmental organization in Africa – the Amref Health Africa and got to know how its medical center and air rescue works.
