On September 3, H.E. Omer Eisa Ahmed,
Ambassador of Sudan to China, visited the headquarters of StarTimes, where he
was received by Pang Xinxing, Chairman of StarTimes. They both exchanged views on Sudan’s post-war
reconstruction, the restoration of broadcasting and television infrastructure,
and future cooperation. Ambassador Omer introduced Sudan’s ongoing
reconstruction efforts, noting that the government is accelerating the
restoration of damaged infrastructure and encouraging Chinese companies to
return to Sudan and participate in reconstruction. Mr.Pang said StarTimes would continue to
follow Sudan’s reconstruction process and explore practical cooperation
opportunities. They both
expressed hope to advance cooperation projects and contribute to bilateral
friendship and people’s well-being.
