to Deputy Minister for Investments, Trade and Industry H.E.Regina Obam, China’s
zero-tariff policy for 53 African countries has created new momentum for Kenya
to strengthen export competitiveness, accelerate industrial transformation and
expand market opportunities. She highlighted the growing potential for Kenyan
agricultural products in the Chinese market and noted that cooperation with
China is also promoting technology transfer and manufacturing development. She
expressed that China is a partner that can genuinely help Kenya grow.
