
On
August 10, the China-Africa Business Council (CABC) hosted a business
matchmaking meeting with more than 60 government officials in the fields of
trade and economic affairs from Burkina Faso and Togo , bringing together representatives
of Qingdao-based enterprises engaged in cooperation with Africa. The meeting
focused on country-specific investment opportunities and key sectors including
agro-processing, infrastructure, solar power, mining, textiles and apparel,
home appliances, and machinery, helping identify industrial complementarities
and expand cooperation potential. The delegations also visited Qingjian
Overseas, Haier Group and Hisense Group for further exchanges, laying a
foundation for practical cooperation and deeper economic and trade ties between
Qingdao and West Africa.
