On August 1, the East Africa Commercial & Logistics Center (EACLC) celebrated its first anniversary. As a core project of the East Africa Commercial & Logistics Industrial Park Comprehensive Service Cooperation Zone, EACLC has grown steadily, with over 1,100 companies and users as of July 2026 and annual trade reaching RMB 4 billion in 2025, further strengthening its role as a regional distribution hub in East Africa. The anniversary celebrations featured shopping promotions, livestreams, local performances, fireworks and concerts, further deepening its presence in the local market. Going forward, EACLC will strengthen supply-chain cooperation and trade exchanges, expand two-way trade, and continue to serve Tanzania while reaching markets across East Africa, contributing to China–Africa economic and trade cooperation.
