President H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni met with Tiantang Group Chairman Zhang
Zhigang and his delegation twice within one week, with discussions focusing on Special
Economic Zone development, energy cooperation, green mobility, microgrid
construction, and industrial development. President Museveni expressed strong
interest in Tiantang Group’s development plans and endorsed the expansion of
the Sino-Uganda Mbale Industrial Park. Tiantang Group will continue to leverage
the industrial platform to advance Uganda’s industrialization by integrating
China’s strengths in advanced manufacturing and new energy.
