
On July 24, the China and Portuguese-speaking Countries Business Cooperation Conference was held in Maputo, Mozambique, under the joint initiative of the Mozambique Investment and Export Promotion Agency, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM). More than 350 government and business representatives from the Chinese mainland, Macao, Mozambique, and other Portuguese-speaking countries attended the event to promote economic and trade cooperation. Under the theme "Investing in Logistics Infrastructure to Drive Development", the conference featured investment roundtables, keynote speeches, and business matchmaking sessions, fostering practical cooperation in trade, investment, and industrial development between China and Portuguese-speaking countries. The conference resulted in the signing of more than 20 cooperation agreements covering infrastructure, trade, and professional services, injecting new momentum into economic and trade cooperation and broader practical collaboration between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.
