The 3rd Seminar of Chinese Media Reporting on Africa Launched In Tsinghua University

As Mr. Liu Yutong, the Counsellor of the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China put it, “telling Africa the China story well doesn’t mean showing the sound part only. It should include a good part of experience and lessons which might bring benefit to Africa.”




On July 12, the 3rd Seminar of China Media Report on Africa was launched at the School of Journalism and Communication of Tsinghua University. Mr. Wang Wen, the Dean of the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies of Renmin University of China, Mr. Wang Xiaoyong, the Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of China-Africa Business Council(CABC), Ms. Chen Si, the Senior Manager of China-Africa Development Fund were invited to give lectures and exchange ideas with the students.

Mr. Wang Xiaoyong introduced the development history of CABC, shared the services that CABC could provide to members, and discussed relevant issues of China-Africa cooperation from the perspective of CABC. In terms of the projects, Mr. Wang Xiaoyong shared his previous experience his hopes for future development.
