Amid social unrest and riots in Madagascar from September to mid-October, StarTimes Madagascar remained committed to serving local communities. From November to mid-December, the company carried out a “Warmth Delivery” initiative for household solar users, bringing essential supplies such as cooking oil, salt, sugar, rice and detergent directly to villages. The initiative helped ease daily pressures for families still recovering from instability and conveyed the company’s solidarity during difficult times. Many residents said the support restored a sense of security and hope as normal life gradually resumed. Beyond providing clean energy and reliable lighting, the initiative reflected StarTimes’ commitment to technology for people’s wellbeing and responsible corporate citizenship in Africa.
