The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Central-East Africa Smart Supply Chain Management Conference was held in Shanghai’s Hongqiao area on December 8. During the event, the China Office of the DRC Multimodal Freight Management Authority (OGEFREM) was officially inaugurated. Preparatory work for a direct China–DRC passenger air route was also officially launched. Officials from the DRC, representatives of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, and diplomatic and business representatives attended the event.
