The second China-Africa BeiDou Cooperation Forum was recently held in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province. Representatives discussed application scenarios, cooperation opportunities, and development directions for the BeiDou Satellite Navigation System in Africa. The forum released a joint statement from China’s National Development and Reform Commission and the African Union Commission. As a multilateral cooperation mechanism under the framework of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), the BeiDou forum aims to promote collaboration in satellite navigation applications between China and African countries.
