On October 22, President of the Qingdao China Africa Business Council, Huang Jingyi, and Secretary-General Li Guangyu visited the Kenyan Embassy in China to meet with Ambassador Willy Bett. The two sides discussed enhancing Sino-Kenyan economic cooperation and talent development. Ambassador Bett warmly welcomed the delegation and highly praised the business exchanges between the two nations, showing a strong interest in Qingdao enterprises’ investments in Kenya. He emphasized that the Kenyan government welcomes investments from Qingdao and Shandong and is willing to serve as a bridge to facilitate cooperation with Kenyan agencies for smoother collaborations.
