On October 14, 2024, BGI Group CEO Yin Ye led a delegation to visit the Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority, where they were warmly welcomed by Director-General Adugna Debela. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions about strengthening cooperation in the coffee industry. They expressed a strong mutual interest in collaborating on enhancing the quality of coffee beans through technological means and advancing the development of the entire industry chain. The meeting marked a new milestone in BGI Group’s efforts to develop its presence in Ethiopia’s coffee industry.
