On April 3, a matchmaking meeting for Chinese enterprises investing in Africa was held in Beijing. Wu Peng, Secretary General of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum Chinese Follow-up Committee and Director General of the Department of Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Wang Dong, Deputy Director General of the Department of West Asia and Africa of the Ministry of Commerce; Wang Xiaoyong, Executive Chairman of the China-Africa Business Council and about 120 ambassadors and diplomats from more than 50 African countries in China attended the meeting.
