November 6 saw the side event of China International Import Expo of “Investing in Africa: Financing and Risk Control Symposium” co-hosted by UN International Trade Center, Investment Promotion Agency of Ministry of Commerce, P.R. China. China-Africa Business Council is one of the co-organizers.
The Vice-Chairman of CABC and Chairman of Zhongding International Construction Group Mr. Hu Lijian and the CABC Vice-Chairman and former Chairman of China-Africa Development Fund Mr. Chi Jianxin participated in the panel.
Present and contributing to the symposium were also the Chairman of Institute of New Structural Economics at Peking University Professor Lin Yifu (Mr. Justin Lin) who gave a keynote speech and pointed out that Africa is youthful and is a great opportunity for Chinese enterprises.
